As a Domme, I have an advantage that most therapists don't enjoy: I can require you to serve me in overcoming your problems, I can tell you what is expected of you and I can punish you if you fall short in your performance. Many submissives will try harder for other people, especially dominants, than for themselves, and it is this drive that I recruit. If you fail, you will be letting me down, which I don't take lightly.

My method of working is to understand your problems, your fears, your motivations and your dreams as any good therapist would. But beyond this, I will set you tasks to push you through your fears, to learn how to move on, to practice the things in life you have found difficult and avoided. I will require reporting back from you and I will punish you if you fail to meet the targets we agree when the tasks are set.

Note that the concept of punishment is strictly within consensual boundaries established at the outset of our relationship. This may include physical punishment but not at a level which would constitute assault. Other forms of punishment may be withdrawal of permissions, to smoke, for instance.
